| The board administrator has requested that all new registered users must agree to the following terms before registering and using the services on the board "Twilight-Sky". Please read the following terms and if you agree to them, select the "I agree" button found at the bottom of the terms. |
The rules were edited on 4th July, 2010. Please re-read them carefully, as some things have been clarified and changed. New rules will be marked in bold.

General.
T-S was born on 2-5-2005. Ever since then we've been a big friendly community. Our goal is to make a comfortable atmosphere to role-play in, and help improve writers =)

New to Twilight-Sky?
»» You may create only one account. You may not use any names similar to the Staff's username. If you made a mistake with your username you are to U2U Roxanne or Bella within four days after your registration, and they will change it for you. However, if you want to change your username you will have to earn SPs [Forum Money] like everyone else to change it.
»» Please introduce yourself in the "New Twilights" forum before posting. (Note: this is not a requirement)
»» Members must be at least 13 years old to be a part of this community. Why? Because this site contains cursing, adult situations, and violence. However, we strictly do NOT allow pornographic pictures, etc.
Avatars and Signatures
»» Avatar dimensions are not to exceed 100x100.
»» No images may be used in signatures.
»» Please try to make sure that your signature is not too long. It really annoys the members if your signature is taking up half of the page.
»» Avatars and signatures may not contain offensive or inappropriate material.
»» A member's signature or avatar may be removed at the staff's discretion.
»» We had some complaints about the 'Images in Signatures', but we are strictly putting our foot down on that rule. So please do not U2U the staff about putting images in your signature.
Posting
»» English only.
»» Use complete and proper sentences. No chat speak.
»» Absolutely no bumping. You are to use the edit button. This is a forum, not Neopets.
»» No powerposting allowed. (Note: a powerpost is a very short post, such as "lol" or a smilie face, or an off topic post)
»» Swearing is allowed, however if another member finds it offensive then they are to report it to one of the mods or admins.
»» No offensive or inappropriate material may be posted, including links to such websites.
»» Members may not conduct illegal discussions or trading/selling of copyrighted materials.
»» No unprovoked personal attacks may be posted.
»» Members must respect other members' beliefs, no matter how different they are. Name calling and/or discrimination will not be tolerated.
»» Please do not use colour fonts for your posts.
Roleplaying
»» Literacy is a must.
»» Do not bump, go off-topic, or anything else that is considered spam.
»» Absolutely no plagiarism.
»» If the creator of the thread has its own rules, then you are to follow it. Please respect these rules.
»» Respect the people you roleplay with.
»» All in character posts must be at least five complete lines long on the forum’s default font size.
»» You may not roleplay sex or sexual actions until the third page of the role play. If you wish for it to occur before the third page, you must skip over it.
Profiles
»» Members are allowed to use BB code and a single image in their profiles.
»» This image needs to be at maximum: 200px [width] x 266px [height]. Upload your picture to photobucket.com or imageshack.us. Copy the direct link and paste it between [IMG][/IMG].
»» An image may be removed at a staff member's discretion.
»» All Twilight-Sky rules apply in the profile; keep it clean, keep it light.
The Flashchat
»» The Flashchat is a fast-paced chatroom that allows members to talk on a more casual level.
»» The Flashchat is a privilege. Treat it as such.
»» Rules are more lax in the Flashchat, but bear in mind that users should still mind the rules; warnings CAN be administered and applied to Twilight-Sky for events occurring in the Flashchat.
»» Respect members and staff, at all times, even if staff are not present. We see all.
»» But most of all, join and have fun.
Warnings & Banning
»» If you break any of these rules, you will get a warning from the moderators or administrators. Each warning lasts for 72 hours. 3 warnings leads to a temporary banning, the length of which is at the staff's discretion, and 5 warnings leads to a permanent ban.
»» If you see anyone breaking a rule, report it.
Respect & Rights
»» Respect your fellow members.
»» Members should respect the staff as well. Without them, the forum would be a mess.
»» The T-S staff reserves the right to delete posts, warn members, edit posts, read members' u2us, modify members' profile information, delete u2us, ban a member, delete a member, and edit rules at our discretion. ISPs will be contacted if problems with members arise.
